The EU4YOUTH2ACT project is enriched with a new supporter, the Santa Croce Rock City Youth Center: let’s hear from the words of its representative what convinced them to join the project:
“As the Santa Croce Rock City Youth Center we have always felt obliged to participate in initiatives that concern social and cultural issues. For this reason we have decided to join the Erasmus+ EU4YOUTH2ACT project coordinated by Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile, to support the objective of disseminating the role of European institutions in daily life among young people and the need to actively participate in the next European elections.
Many of our members and visitors will be attending their first vote on 8 and 9 June to elect the European parties and parliamentarians. For this purpose we decided to discuss the various themes proposed by the 6 petitions present in the project sheets, and then simulate a vote complete with a ballot box, kindly provided to us by Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile!
It wasn’t easy to get together after dinner, given that many of us have various commitments, but it resulted in a nice moment of discussion on the knowledge we have regarding this supra-national body that is talked about a lot now that we are close to the elections.
We too, on 8 and 9 June, will be happy to vote in the European elections and above all to be able to continue to contribute to the results that this project will bring in the coming months!”
