Piloting sessions – a great experience and valuable feedback

What a year it has been! Together, we completed many project activities. But what excited us the most was to see your faces in real life and be able to deliver the programme we have worked so long on!

This month, we completed all of the piloting sessions in all countries. We planned two separate trainings:

  1. Capacity building training for Youth Workers
  2. Piloting session with youth

During the first sessions, our project staff delivered the training to educators, people working with youth and youth workers, creating a solid base for the Social Innovation Labs in our countries. We worked on active citizenship competences, but didn’t forget about the facilitation skills that are needed for any type of informed community action.

The youthworkers who decided to continue this journey were invited to join us on the Study Visit to Bruxelles in order to understand well the internal process of democracy in the EU.

All in all, the goal of this phase was to prepare the youth workers to take over the second stage and deliver a high quality, engaging and robust piloting session.

We gathered our workgroups with young people in each country and started the phase 2. During the workshops, our formed youth workers tried their best to deliver the training and practiced the didactic methodology in real life. An important point of these workshops was also to test and pilot the EU4YOUTH2ACT digital resources.

Together, we tested the app and the E-ACADEMY platform and thanks to your attentive eyes, we noted exactly what to improve.

During the next weeks our partnership will work hard to fix any bugs and make the resources more adapted to you.

THANK YOU to everyone that participated. Remember – our journey doesn’t stop here. Contact your national coordinator if you have an idea for a project or an innitiative you would like to coordinate!
