The Final Events Conclude, The Future Begins!

We are thrilled to announce that this month, we have successfully concluded all of the final events across each partner country. These celebratory gatherings, collectively titled EU DAYS, focused on spreading the word about the EU4YOUTH2ACT project, showcasing the adaptable Capacity Building programme, and discussing the future of the European Union as guided by young people. We are overjoyed that all events reached over 100 people, reflecting the high interest in our mission!

Highlighting Our EU DAYS Across Europe

Our final events were diverse and dynamic, demonstrating unique approaches to civic engagement in various locations:

In Italy, the event RE.NEW EUROPE took place in Florence on October 18, 2025. Held during a regional session of the European Youth Parliament, the event was attended by stakeholders and a large number of young Italians and Europeans. Attendees received a summary of the project stages and a detailed illustration of the developed tools, including the online platform and mobile app. Young people were actively involved through interviews on their aspirations regarding European institutions, followed by a guided test and debate on the tools. The partners confirmed their agreement to continue activities and promote the results by launching further Social Innovation Labs in various parts of Italy.

In Germany, CGE Erfurt e.V. organized the Social Innovation Ideas Market over two complementary parts. The first part, held on October 22, 2025, involved a micro-conference and Ideas Market that gathered local NGOs, youth workers, and young leaders. Participants engaged in a World Café format to discuss how key outputs—such as the guide “Catalysts for Change – A Practical Guide to Social Innovation Labs for Youth”, the Digital Academy, and the EU4YOUTH2ACT App—could be applied in their communities. This was followed by a Pitching session where young people from the Social Innovation Lab presented their ideas for social innovation. The event concluded with CGE presenting its local Sustainability Strategy for continuing the Social Innovation Lab.

In Cyprus, the event Culture in Action: Practical Steps for Community Engagement was delivered on October 20, 2025, aiming to inspire participants to adopt active citizenship in their daily lives. The workshop utilized an interactive format, examples, and connected culture, sports, and arts to active citizenship, helping participants better understand these themes. The team presented digital outputs like the online platform, mobile application, and the podcast series, highlighting their use for continued support beyond the workshop.

Our final events also included an Info Session in Brussels which was strategically organized alongside the General Assembly of CONNECT International. This ensured wide engagement, attracting a diverse audience including young people, youth workers, NGO representatives, and Members of the European Parliament. The session successfully promoted the project’s main activities and results, sharing the Spotify channel, mobile app, and platform links to encourage engagement. Meanwhile, in Poland, the EU4YOUTH2ACT Youth for a Better Europe event in Wrocław fostered dialogue, strengthened awareness about EU citizenship, and motivated young attendees to explore practical ways to get involved in civic initiatives through the “Youth Voice” segment. The event in Spain, Proyecto EU4YOUTH. Voces jóvenes en la UE, held in Albacete, presented the project results and included group dynamics to work on the topic of integration.
