We are excited to announce the successful conclusion of the WP2 A3 activity: Peer-to-Peer Review of Best Practices and Debate Forums on Youth Engagement in the EU. The report, elaborated by DRAMBLYS, is now ready for download!
What’s Inside the Report?
This comprehensive review covers two essential activities from Work Package 2:
1. Good Practices of Youth Civic Engagement and Empowerment Programs in the EU
2. Debate Forum Podcasts and Infographics
The review process was divided into two phases. First, partners were paired to review each other’s work and filled out a questionnaire with open and closed questions. Then, two online sessions were held, facilitated by the DRAMBLYS team, where partners engaged in semi-structured discussions, sharing their insights on the topics of youth civic engagement.
Key Sections of the Report:
– Young People, Awareness, and Engagement with the EU
Insights into how youth perceive their relationship with the European Union, highlighting both familiarity and disengagement.
– Challenges and Opportunities
Analysis of the main barriers and skills young people need to actively participate in the EU’s democratic life.
– Conclusions
Recommendations on enhancing youth civic engagement, with a focus on adaptability, critical thinking, media literacy, and fostering a stronger European identity.
This peer-to-peer review serves as the foundation for the development of a Competence Framework, aimed at empowering youth through personal, social, and civic engagement.
